How to deal with the burrs and warped edges of the film slitting machine

1. Film slitting machine burr

Most of the burrs are caused by the slitting cutter being too blunt, and replacing the cutter can solve the problem. The thicker the thickness, the greater the wear on the cutter, so it is necessary to adjust the position of the blade groove or replace the blade in time according to different slitting objects to avoid the appearance of burr products. Take precautions, budget for blade replacement intervals, and adjust or replace blades before they become problematic to reduce losses. Another reason for the burr is the quality of the parent roll.

First, when the parent roll product is wrinkled, the film is still not effectively stretched when the slitting process is not effectively rolled to the knife groove roller, and the burr phenomenon is easy to appear;

Second, when the film is thick or thin for a long time, the film is prone to burr if it is not attached to the roller at the position of the tool groove. In addition, the thinner the film, the lower the stiffness, so the higher the chance of flashing.

Raw products not only affect the appearance, but also directly affect the use, the edge of the film is jagged, the film roll is easy to break the film in the process of use, the consequences are very serious.

In addition, we must pay attention to the protection of the end face in the process of moving the film roll, the film end face gap caused by careless operation, and the gap has a high concealment, the problem is difficult to find and flow to the user, which will have a greater impact on the use of the product.

2. Film slitting machine warping

Warping occurs at the edge of the film winding, and the causes of warping are:

1. The edge of the thick film is rewound and superimposed to make the edge part warped;

2. If the coiling is too tight, the warping phenomenon caused by slitting can be improved by reducing the tension and speeding up;

3. The cutter is too blunt, and the stretching phenomenon occurs at the incision during slitting, which causes the edge of the film roll to turn outward after winding and warps the edge, so the cutter should be replaced in time to avoid the occurrence of warping problems;

4. The tool is installed incorrectly, such as the blade is close to the edge of the tool groove, resulting in the passivation of the knife edge. Slitting with a round knife can improve the warping of the film rolls.
